Leaseholder's Turkey Hunting Rules
 
Included in the basic annual Hunting Lease, Wild Wings Lease or Corporate Upland Lease Fee, at no additional cost is hunting reservations for wild turkey in May (shotgun or bow). Leaseholders must have the New York State License and game tag. Only 6 hunters are allowed on the preserve to hunt Turkey on any day in the May Season. This rule has been in effect since 2001 and proved effective for better hunting, more birds shot, and safer conditions in 2002.
 
Please reserve your dates early. After April 15th we will start booking out of town guests if dates are not reserved by leaseholders. To reserve the cabin for over night stay consult the table on leaseholders rental of Owners cabin. Leaseholders receive preferred booking status and lower rates than out of town guests. Guests's Turkey Hunting Rules
Hunters arrive between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM the night before hunting to check in to the Preserve and get their room assignment. 4 Hunters booking together may reserve the 2 semi private rooms exclusively. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM the first and second night in our Clubhouse. Your guide serves breakfast in the Cabin the following morning. Your Turkey hunt guide then takes you on your first day hunt.
The hunt ends for the day at the noon hour and lunch is served at the Clubhouse for you and your guide. You may fish in our trout pond or the afternoon or shoot Sporting Clays after 2:00 PM at extra cost. Check out is 2:00PM the final day. Cost for May Turkey is $750 per person. For the 2 days you may shoot 1 Tom Turkey per day. All turkey hunting requires a New York State License and tag per bird. We can arrange taxidermy shipping and handling for you at extra charge.
