April 2003

April caused several fits and starts for our region and Whaleback Farm Ushered in with a bit of warmth the air turned cool and we experienced our second ice storm since 1991 on April 5th, 6th, and 7th.  Whaleback lost trees but there was little serious damage. Except that all of April's activities seemed to be difficult for everyone to attend because of weather.

April Sporting Clays pictures in Green Course!!

David O's Game Dinner & Sporting Clays on the 13th was  not well attended ascompared to normal years but many got out to shoot pheasats and hunt for the last time until September 1st.  Ted Lenz, TJ Lenz and John Ford hunted  then Ate. Joe Clayton and Graham Fennie enjoyed good dog work with guide John Ipacks. The Dogs loved that and the Game dinner was superb. Voted best dish the Alaska fresh Halibut donated by Lloyd Hiese and Ted Horrocks!
